Actually I'm wrong, as usual Mei Mei have high fever after the vaccin, it just don't happen the next day but 3 days after the jab. She's not active as before and very tired and sleep most of the time.

光饼

光饼 is the specialty from Setiawan, make from flour, even though is very plain, nothing else except some sesame, but is very delicious. Everyone in my family (including Mei Mei) love it, it's so YUMMY!!

10 months old

Another 4 more days, Kait Yee will turn 10 months old. Yesterday, she have her 2nd pheumococal, cried very loud when Dr Cheah check on her, not even have the jab. But so fortunate that this time she don't have high fever as before.

What she can do now:
1. Likes to crawls, she always crawling around with her Jie Jie (who likes to pretend like a baby)
2. Sleep by her own, don't like me carry now.
3. Poo Poo become very hard, not as soft as last time. May be is due to taking solid food.
4. Love to plays whatever Jie Jie is playing, but most of the time was get bully, Jie Jie refuse to share her toys with her.
5. Walks by holding on something.
6. Make more sounds, like gagaga...baba..
7. Clap hands.
8. Pass her bear bear or chut chut to me when I ask her to do so.
9. Climb up the stair case.

Pink Rose

Kaitlyn got her 1st rose from her papa.

She's asking for rose since many days, so papa promise to get her one after her afternoon nap this afternoon. We drive to many florist shop, but all was closed, so I suggest papa to get one fake rose for her from SSF.

See how happy she was... she said she's like princess now!

Horrible word

It has been many many night, either me or papa need to tell Kaitlyn snow white story before her bed time, 2 days ago... the story almost ended.. the prince kiss on snow white and she wake up, and the queen become crazy and disappear.. u know what happen after I said so.. Kaitlyn ask me if the queen "走火" in hokkien.. I couldn't believe my ear and ask her one more time, the answer is the same.. and its really give me a shock, how she know this word, I think she must pick this up from her papa, man likes to use these kind of rude words, even though Kaitlyn don't speak hokkien, but I believe she understand it and keep it on her mind. My goodness, papa should stop talking rude, else I can't imagine how horrible it will for a girl who speak this way...

快高长大

What most parents hope for for their child is to grow up fast, so as myself. But this word 快高长大 don't really apply to my 2 daughter, by comparing to the same age children, they consider very small in size. Height is below percentile, this has been worry me for quite sometimes... Kaitlyn is 3 yrs and 5 mths and her height is not even touch 90cm. I heard the advertisement on Pediasure, it can help chidren grow up fast, so I let Kaitlyn drink it now instead of progress gold. Let see any improvement ...

1st teeth

By average, baby first teeth is come in between 5 and 7 months old, but my Mei Mei is a bit late, 1st teeth ( lower right central incisor) erupt only by her 9 mths old.
In order to prevent tooth decay, from now on, I should let her drink water after milk and clean her teeth during bath time so that she'll have white and sparkling teeth like Jie Jie. I'll remind myself not to forget!

Achievements

I'm happy to say that both of my girl have achievement this week.

Jie Jie no longer take pacifier for about a week during this school holiday, papa is very firm of helping her get rid of it, we told her that 4 yrs old still sucking chut chut is very shameful... but between this period, she's very fussy and even waking up in the night and crying for her chut chut.

About my little Mei Mei, she know how to come down from the bed by using her buttock by instructions, whenever I saw her want to come down, I'll say use your buttock, and she understand my instructions, she'll turn her body and come down the correct way. She can recognised more people and things now, and say ma..maaa more frequent.

Nothing is more happy than see them grow :)

First baking experience

Papa went to team building in Pantai Keracut yesterday. So I bring Kaitlyn home from Ah Mah house and try to let her take her afternoon nap. But it ends up I sleep and she played her computer games. She not used to take her afternoon nap here because don't have pacifier and Ah Mah's Ali Baba story :)

After my short nap, we spend our afternoon to make the crispy corn flakes, Dang Dang... here it was... she did help me in preparing the ingradient and placing the paper cups, but also eat a lot while waiting.

Nature of girls

Girls likes to make pretty pretty, so as my 2 girl.

Especially Jie Jie, always want to dress up, make up, colour her nails, wearing earing... when Mei Mei more bigger, she'll be the same. See the photos, she's so interested to the pink hairband that Jie Jie wearing...

Papa will be very headache when 2 girls grow up, sure will request this and that, including his wife, never ending shopping, haha.. be more hard working to earn more :P

Exam

Kaitlyn school will have exam soon, so we introduce this new word to her, she start asking me what's exam, so last saturday I prepare a few question and test on her. Since she's know how to write number 1 till 5 and upper and lower case of A/a till H/h.. so I prepare my question according to her level. So far, she's doing well, know how to answer the question but just no confidence, will ask me if the answer she write is correct or not. I think she enjoy taking exam because keep requesting for more :)

Gathering

I like this group photo so much, we took it during CNY gathering. They are my Agilent colleauges, don't know since when we get along together, works, having lunch... but the problem is that whenever we want to go out, sure need 2 cars ...Most of them already have the other half, some already married and planning to have baby. I'm so happy to have them as my friends and hope they fast fast become mummy and we can form a play group for our children :)

Mei Mei progress updates

Mei Mei is 9 months and 2 days old as per today, she's become naughty and naugthier.
Only taking short afternoon nap (1 hour).
Taking lesser formula (make 6oz, most of the time will have leftover of 2oz)
When I ask her where is the lock, crystal light, fish, snow white, kakak, papa ..she'll turn her head towards them.
Can sit without support.
Hold on something and walk a few steps.
(Just recover from rashes, measure her weight is 6.7kg when she's having high fever on 25/2)
