双亲节

上个周日，参加了佛学院主办的双亲节。4-6 岁的孝梯班表演了两首歌，虽然没什么练习，但表演得还不错的。

除了歌唱节目，还有说故事啦，表演短剧啦，还有敬礼仪式。。。这个环节，我和老公都被吓到了。老师要求孩子们给父母下跪敬礼。。。老师告诉孩子们要感恩父母对他们的付出，要求孩子望着父母的双眼，看看父母多辛苦。。。还没下跪敬礼，听到这里，Kaitlyn 已经开始哭了，使劲的窝在爸爸的怀里，不愿起来。。。我和爸爸有一点犹豫，她到底懂不懂？？

上海世博会的吉祥物

阿公从上海世博会带回来的吉祥物(海宝)，可爱吧！刚好妹妹也有一件裤子和它一样的，真有趣。。。

Can you imagine a guy who don't like shopping end up buying so many cloths for his daughters??? They are addorable and cheap so papa said is worth to buy. Hooray!! My girls have more cute T-shirt to wear. Most of them are 2T and 4T, Papa bought 4 with same pattern but just difference sizes so that the girl won't fight for it. Papa should buy bigger size la so that they can wear longer, anyway it is just right for now :)

A little helping hand

Both girls warddrobe is a bit messy, so ask them to help me tidy up last night.

Now I only realised how good and fast is Jie Jie folding cloths, last time she only know how to fold a small tower and her panties. But now she master well in folding T-shirt and pants. 80% of the cloths was fold by her, see.. good ya!!

Should let her do more house chores, train them to do their own things and not always waiting for help.

Funny conversation from Kaitlyn

When Kaitlyn is in good mood, she can talk non stop while I'm driving her in the car.

Scenario 1
On the way to barber shop yesterday.

Kaitlyn: Mama, Hui Yee said I'm not cute and Kelly Goh is more cute... (show her angry face, and of course here come with question of why)
Kaitlyn: Because Kelly colour her nail with purple colour ma...I've to start 打扮
Mama: How to 打扮??
Kaitlyn: ... 做面膜...
Mama: Wow.. mask is very expensive wo.. do you have money to buy?
Kaitlyn: Borrow from 姑姑loh.. or I do 鸡蛋面膜啦 , more cheap, can get from fridge.


Scenario 2
On the way to 婆婆 house today.

Kaitlyn keep complaining to me that her friend Tan Ping Chuen always tease her said that want to throw her Mei Mei into the sea la, want to give her poison candy la... until her last comment that make me laugh...
Kaitlyn: 就是这样啦。。。现在的男孩子看到美丽的女孩子就要作弄。。。
She conclude her sentence in this way.. do u agreed on her??人小小，说话却像老大人！！

I ask her to post to show you "papa" that her hair has been cut short.

I bring her and kakak to Ah Mah's friend barber shop to cut hair this afternoon, can you believe that her hair is split end? I not really see it but kakak said so. Just a little trimmed cost me RM5 :P

When Papa is not around

Will the girls missed him? Kaitlyn should be big enough to understand where is he. May be she missed, but she didn't mention that. Mei Mei waking up this morning by looking for papa and Kaitlyn told her that papa went to the place where wolf live, what a cheeky answer.




Kaitlyn is doing good today. Mei Mei went to bed early because she skip her afternoon nap. While I'm taking my bath, both of them painting, and Jie Jie also spend the night by colouring after the painting... so papa should not be worry of them, they are under good care.

刘伯温迷

Kaitlyn is big fan of 刘伯温, she watched this hokkien soup opera from Channel 333with Ah Mah since many years ago, should be 2 years old ba. Finally it finished last friday, and she request to stay overnight at Ah Mah house so she can watch the last episod. Even though I didn't watch, but some of the characters name are so familiar to me, like 老板娘，阿利，侯雷，七公主...she's just too excited to share the story with me after she watched. She told me that next Monday will have new story, which act by 刘伯温's girl friend, she told me her name but I've forgot. I was happily thought that after 刘伯温, she'll not watch this kind of hokkien soup opera anymore, but is not, She already ready herself for next one....

Kait Yee is 2 years old

Today is Kait Yee birthday, I want to say that how lucky is she to have a Jie Jie who remember her birthday by heart, wishing her happy birthday the moment she open her eye in this morning.

Mei Mei always remind us on her birthday by singing herself birthday song. "Happy Birthday to Mei Mei, Happy Birthday to Mei Mei..." so how can I ignored this special day, so I on leave today to make a small party for her. A simple one, not many dishes as you can see from the photo, only a black forest cake from Bread History, dragon fruits jelly, fruits, fried bihun, chicken wing... even tough is simple, but all eating with joy and all the dishes finished and no leftover. She got ang pow from Ah Kong, Ah Mah and kuku, Mama only bought her a Ziraffe T-shirt from the market, no big big present.

I don't think she know how to appreciate all this at 2 yrs old, but I hope she know that so many people love and care of her and wish her grow up healthy and happily everyday with her Jie Jie.

Papa is a wolf

I'm testing Mei Mei if she know our name just now...

Mama: Mei Mei, what's your name?
Mei Mei: Kait Yee
Mama: Then what's papa name?
Mei Mei: Wolf!!

Actually she know her papa name is Aik Keong but just purposely said her papa is a wolf because hubby always scared and bite the girls by saying he is a wolf.
