Princessmania

I bought a fairy tales story book for Kaitlyn since she's 1 yrs old, the story that she likes the most is snow white. Since then, she's crazy about all the snow white products, request me to buy DVD for her to watch, the most interesting part is want to act, pretend herself is a snow white and ask papa to be the prince, kiss her and safe her, she have the collection from pyjamas to T-shirt, dresses, water tumbler, sticker, and yesterday we just bought her the snow white bed sheet cover. Everythings that we buy must be snow white. I think she must have a sweet dream on snow white after she sleep on her new bed sheet :) Children should have innocent childhood, but when she grow up,I hope she'll understand that there is no fairy tales in the real life.

Lion Dance

Today is the first day of chinese new year, our 1st stop is to Popo house as there is a lion dance ceremony start at 10a.m, but we not manage to catch the show, when we reach there, the ceremony has been ended. Kaitlyn is kind of dissappointed, but luckily Eugene got a small lion dance for her to play with. She's not afraid of it compare to the one that she saw last year.

This year she know more about the chinese new year, teacher did told them some of the believe, like if you sweep the floor during CNY, 财神爷 will run away... and also teach them the new year song 庆祝. The most happy things for today is all the family member can gather together and she can play with her cousins.

Wear red

Chinese new year is coming near the corner, today there will be a chinese new year party for Kaitlyn school, they are asking to wear red, but I can't find any red cloths in her wardrobe, so I plan to let her wear the pink dress (with red flowers).

Actually she got one, but we are not dare to let her wear... the reason is the dress look very weird, I told her if you wear that, everyone will run away. You know what, she's so smart and said that want to wear it to scared away the nian that she's afraid of. By the way, this red dress is her favourite... which my sister in law bought for her during last year new year.

Mei Mei @ 7 mths

Mei Mei is 7 mths, 3 weeks and 1 day old.

Eat porridge twice a day, 1 homecook and 1 instant cereal with formula.
We are getting harder to change her diaper or cloths, she likes to turn here and there.
Cry out loud and scream when we ignore her.
Enjoy playing with Jie Jie, no matter what Jie Jie do, she'll find it fun.

Funny names do help

Our new maid is Atun, but papa have difficulty in remembering her name, always call her Ayun and Ah Mah also, call her as Atu. Luckily we have a creative Kaitlyn, who said that her name sound like cartoon, this help papa able to remember her name easily...

Maid

Our maid (Wati) will end her 2 yrs contract by tomorrow. She come to our house when Kaitlyn is 1 yrs plus. She's only 16 yrs old when she come, very very fresh in terms of age and experience, she can't even speak malay well, don't even know how to do all the house chores.. but today I can see her grow, more mature compare to 2 yrs ago. She's taking good care of my 2 girls, I'm sure that Kaitlyn will missed her. Now we have a replacement, She is Atun who have 2 kids. Hope she's is more experince to take care of kids and able to teach Kaitlyn and Kait Yee to be independent, not too pampered them.
What I am worry now is how long my 2 girls need to get to know their new kakak...

Rusks

Mei Mei likes to bite whatever toys that we give her, so I'm thinking of since she likes to put someting in her month, why not I let her hold something which is eatable. So I bought the rusks for her, I let her have one, but only with a few bite she already stop. I don't understand why she don't like it, the biscut end up not eaten by Mei Mei, but the picky eater Jie Jie have finished 2 pcs which surprise me.

New House 的人

I overheard a cute conversation between Ah Kong and Kaitlyn during dinner time, here's what they are talking about...
Ah Kong: Kaitlyn, 你不要回，今天你睡跟我。
Kaitlyn:不要，我要跟papa, mama睡, 我是new house 的人。你是old house 的人.
**I think Ah Kong will missed my 2 girls after we move out**

巧虎

My long waited 巧虎 has been arrived finally. So thankful to Xiao Dong who bought this for Kaitlyn as a gift. Kaitlyn learn her mandarin from 巧虎, and there is a lot of 亲子互动 from the programs. Xiao Dong sent me 28 pcs which is suitable for 2-4 yrs old toddler, I can borrow to my niece Ern Ern, she's 巧虎 fan, I think she'll very happy.

Fall Down

Mei Mei have a great fall yesterday from the bed, the bed height is abt 2sq ft, can you imagine how pain she was. She's taking her evening nap, and Jie Jie worry that she'll wake up from the noise, so help to shut the door, we are not aware that she has been wake up due to the door is closed. The one that realised her fall is Kakak who's cooks in the kitchen and come out to tell us that Mei Mei is falling down. Everyone is heart broken, especially Ah Mah who never leave her alone while she slept, after all, this is an accident, and we need to extra careful next time.

Porridge

I'm letting Mei Mei to taste the porridge that we cooked for Jie Jie yesterday, and she seems like it so much. So I ask Ah Mah to cook another portion for Mei Mei too today (with potato) Is time to give her home cook porridge! She can eat by spoon very well now after a month trial on instant porridge. Hooray!! Another milestone that she achieve.

Homework

This year Kaitlyn already go to Nursery 2, and everyday teacher will let them bring home some homework to do. She's learning how to write upper case and lower case letter now, she's know how to write "A" and "B" but lower case "a" is a bit hard, she always confuse with clockwise and anti clockwise, so she'll write it opposite way.
I need to praise papa who put so many effort on guiding her and make sure all her homework is done before bed. Papa even prepare his own letters excercise book for her to practise on, see... use old diary to let Kaitlyn practise writting.

Likes father likes daughter

People said that child get influence easily. Yes, I totally agreed on this. Why? Because I observe that what papa scold on Kaitlyn, she apply exactly on her Mei Mei.
One day, while we travelling to Ah Mah house...
Mei Mei is eeaaahh (baby talk), here comes Jie Jie advise...
Kaitlyn: Mei Mei ah, stop talking, you canot disturb papa and mama talking... I said stop huh, I count to 3, you better quiet...if not I bring you to Nian house.. let nian eat you...cannot eat hand, eat, eat again... you go to balcony...
She scold her Mei Mei in very high voice and very fierce.
My goodness, she not only looks like papa, but the attitude also same...
One more things to add, always want to be number 1!

Useful car seat

Due to Mei Mei reluctant to sit in the car seat, so we decided to take it off and only let her sit sometimes later. We just put it aside in the study room, until today when we all rushing for work, preparing Jie Jie for school, no more extra hand to help me to carry Mei Mei after she wake up. And I saw the car seat, I think should be able to help me...I let her sit on it and buckle her up, then help Jie Jie wear her uniform. It is very useful, so I decided no more carry all the time, I have to train her sit and play by herself, and when the car seat is back to the car, we all have to be very firm no matter how she cry.

7 months old

Kait Yee is already 7 mths old, last friday (exact 7 mths) we bought her to GMC for 3rd jabs and together with phuemococal. As usual, having fever, and high till 39.4'C.

This is the measurement,
Weight: 6.2 kg
Height:64 cm

What she can do at this moment:
Stand up longer (still need to hold on something to support herself)
Sleep less, wake up in the mid night for milk, sometimes twice.
Can drink 5-6 oz milk, try to increase for her as papa said 4 oz is too little.
Likes to smile, if someone near the baby cot, she'll give you a big big smile, like asking people to carry her :)
Very "ba li ko" to me, if I didn't carry her, she'll cry.

Outing

Today is holiday, we all wake up around 8 in the morning, get ready very fast b'cos we will be going to Mengkuang Dam, so long we never go to park since many many months ago. The reason is papa always sleep late and wake up late.

This morning, Kaitlyn finished her milk within 5 mins (bribe her with only a piece of seedweed), but Mei Mei is so fussy, refuse to drink the 5oz milk which I freshly express out. She don't likes it fresh, but prefer warm it after fridge, another fussy baby.

When we reach there, is almost 10:00 a.m, the weather is hot and not much people there.
We bring along the tricycle for Jie Jie to ride on, but she only ride for a short distance and being attracted by a girls who's feeding fish, ask me why I didn't bring the bread for her to feed. And I saw a malay woman with a loaf of bread, so ask for a piece for her to feed.

If I'm not mistaken, we only spend about 20 mins there, papa already asks to go back. where got enough ... hai...papa should wake up early, if plan to go to park, should wake up at 7 instead.

This remind me when we first bought Kaitlyn to Youth Park at her 8 months old, is so coincidence that they are wearing same T-shirt, same pant and sit on the same stroller.
