First day to school

Since yesterday we have send Kaitlyn to day care centre, she seems like enjoyed it. The reason we send her there is because we want her to be independent and not so rely on others. Today morning, we drop her off to the day care centre and went off to work, but I took half day off in the afternoon to make sure she's doing fine in school for the first day.I made my way to her class and found her sitting in the second row, same as the place she sat during the orientation but this time, not so quiet as before, start making new friends with others.

After her break, I'm thinking going home but at last I stayed till school finished. She's quite blur and do not know where to wait for the van, luckily I was there, else she sure get lost.

今天是一年级新生的迎新曰，当妈妈的我显得比女儿还要紧张，很早前就通知老板30号要休假，都不理是不是月底了。通常月底都会忙着入单。8点早就到学校了，还以为是到礼堂集合那知是要到预先安排好的班上去。1D班是在A座的一楼的最后一间课室，走向D班的走廊好长，心里就开始担心我那小小体积的女儿要如何背着重重的书包上楼还要走那么长的路。。。。，。
安排她坐好后，家长也被安排到礼堂出席汇报会，正副校长就报告了上一年upsr的成绩，活动，还有一些校规。除了汇报会校方还安排了一项我觉得有意义的种树环节。有60个花盆和小树苗让有性趣的家长和孩子一起种树，这些树会摆放在学校的庭院直到孩子们毕业就可以领回。父母还可以在花盆写上孩子的名字和班级还有给孩子的祝福语。难得有这几会我肯定也要参与啦！就在花盆上写上我对她的期望。我最希望的呢就是她能快高长大啦!身体健康和快乐的学习。
希望今天对她来说是有意义的，让她认识班主任，班上的同学还有学校环境。所以开学的第一天才不会陌生。

今天载妹妹上学的途中，她突然问了我很奇怪的问题。

不是很确定她问什么。。。
我：什么?

哦！大概知道她的问题了。
我：当然会死啦！老了，生病了就会死呀！

我：啊。。。不知道，你要妈妈die吗？

刚好经过一家峙庙，她就赶紧的双手合十，嘴里念着，保佑妈妈健康，爸爸健康，姐姐健康，阿公，阿麻健康。。。

Nick name

Talking about nickname, I used to have one, given by my secondary school mates, they called me Miki, reason is my character like Mickey mouse...haha... that's long ago story but till now some still called me Miki. Still acceptable to be called Miki at my age? A bit funny... LOL.....Recently my 2 girls also have a funny nickname given by Ah Mah, Kaitlyn is 等一下 and Kait Yee is 不用紧, that's b'cos they used this phrase so frequently in a day. No matter what instructions given to Kaitlyn, the very first response is wait/等一下, while for mei mei, her attitude a bit tak apa, everything also 不用紧! I don't like this nickname for my girl, so I hope they can changed their attitude and be a lovely girl.

Yesterday was the girl's kindy graduation and awards ceremony and the event was held at USM.
Yesterday suppose is a meaningful event for Kaitlyn, as she has been prepare for sometimes for it, but my girl turn to be very upset, there are 3 things that turn her down.
1. All her friends make up but not her.
2. Most of her friends received bouquet of flowers from their parents which she don't have.
3. Worry that after she cry will make her ugly when take photo, so she cry again.
There are 2 songs Kaitlyn and her school mates present – one in Mandarin 爸妈谢谢你and the other in English - You raise me up, in appreciation of their parents. Kaitlyn has been selected to be Emcee.. she's doing all well until teacher anounce whoever have flowers can bring along with them when they go up the stage to received the cert. I think this is the reason turn her down.

She really drive us crazy!!!
She request for another snap with her class teacher to collect best academic trophy, but all is over,... and we told her that whatever happen is happen, the world won't stop for us and there is no pause or reverse in our life.
Hope she can understand that and be more behave when she go to primary.
On the other side, Mei Mei happily posting for papa to take pic of her, no afraid at all when papa left her alone in the hall. Compare to her Jie Jie, she's stronger.

After the ceremory, We went to Queensbay for lunch, Kaitlyn used her saving RM10 to treat us soya beans ice- cream, as RM10 only able to buy 4 cone, so at first she said one for papa, one for me, one for Mei mei and another one for kakak, she just share with Mei Mei will do. But after bought the ice-cream she changed her mind, so papa give his share to her. she just can't resists the tempting.

Kaitlyn's kindy organized a trip for all k2 children to go to lost world of tambun. It is their graduation tour, kaitlyn keen to join even without my companion. But I really can't let her out for so long journey by herself, so I take a day off to go with her, luckily parents are allowed to follow.
We reach school on 8:15am but the bus only come to pick us up on 9:00am. They have give a note pad and teacher ask them to jot down what they see and experience during this trip in this note pad so that they won't forget.

Is a long journey but teachers think of some games to play to keep us entertained. By the time we reach Ipoh is already 11:00am. Our first activitiy is visiting the petting zoo, each child was given a packet of animal food. Some get the food for bird, some for goat and Kaitlyn get is for bunny...she was so happy b'cos bunny is her favourite animal.

By the time, it was already late 12 noon, all the kids was tired and hungry, luckily our lunch is ready at the HUT. The food for children is a bit spicy, so Kaitlyn have to share my portion, adult's food is more delicious :)

After filled up our tummy, we procced to Tin Valley. There is a guide who explain the history and the operation of Tin Valley to the children. Some of the children really pay attention while he explain, when he ask question they really can answer fast, a very good interaction and the children are given opportunity to experience of dulang washing. But unfortunately, the sky is getting dark and start raining. So they only spend awhile over there.

When the rain start drop, all the child also start worry if they still can go to water park. I think GOD really took pity of them, so the rain really go away after few mins. The kids really having great time playing at the water park. On the way back, teacher Sheena ask what they enjoyed most over there.. their answer is playing water is FUN!!

Is really a good experience, although is tired but I'm happy to see my girl enjoyed her trip. I hope this will be memorable moment as part of her kindy life.

When I was small, I liked to twist pipe cleaner on the black hair pin to make it colourful as my hair assesory. Just now, while we are doing art, I suddenly think of my small times, so I ask the girl to bring me 2 black hair pin and choose the colour they want their hair pin to be. After a few twist and here come the pink and green one...

British Council at Weld Quay, Kaitlyn attended 3 terms in this old building.

Now it have moved to Wisma Great Eastern. They have the opening ceremony on 8 Oct and our chief minister, Lim Guan Eng was invited to give speech.

Last friday 7 Oct is teacher Geeta last day with Little Kingdom, the day before, Mei Mei told me that she cried because teacher Geeta will be leaving soon, so touching when I heard that. This teacher love Mei Mei so much, whenever I meet her, she sure compliment on Mei Mei, said she's very helpful and behave. On her last day, when I fetched them home, she even come to me and ask for my number, she said she want to call Kait Yee when she missed her.

We just celebrated kaitlyn's birthday, she turned 6 yesterday! I can't believe next year she'll going to primary!
I really enjoy celebrating my girl's birthday. kaitlyn is very lucky because her birthday fall on china golden week which mama no need to go to work and have time to bring cake and pack small party treats for her to share with her friends.
Starting her special day with her classmates, teacher Ooi and her mei mei by singing the birthday song, giving away party packs and distribute cakes to all her friend and teachers.

And ending her day with another birthday cake in ah mah house:)

快高长大的药方

嫂嫂给了我一个药方（熟地3钱、当归2钱、川芎1钱、芍药2钱、枸杞2钱、参三七5分、1|4只母鸡），说女孩六岁开始喝了就会快高长大。这药方可帮助女孩的造血功能，喝了会补血，就会发育的好。每周喝二次连续三个月即可见效。我给Kaitlyn试了，虽然是苦涩，但她还是免强的喝。喝后还到学校问同学她是否有长高了：）

刚才到糖伯府去吃甜品，凑巧遇到九王爷花车游行，所以就很幸运的让两个女儿看看花车游行是怎样的。就是那么凑巧，要不然老公肯定不会出来看热闹。

今天心情因该是很好的，但是心里觉得很不好受因为去的途中我们不小心撞倒一只猫，它因该是凶多吉少了吧。。。整晚耿耿于怀的，心想如果没出来，那么那只猫就不会遇上这场灾难了。

What we did for the last weekend...
On Saturday, I enrolled Kaitlyn to badminton course, the sport centre is at 洪氏宗祠 which just near to our house. I want her to spent her spare times by doing some excercise and get sweat!

And Sunday 4 of us smurfed to GSC at Sunway Carnival for the show, this is Mei Mei first movie, but unfortunately she fell asleep after her pop corn finished :)

听说有五种蔬果(甜菜根，芹菜，红萝卜，黄瓜和青苹果)吃了能帮助排毒。所以就开始搅蔬果汁给一家大小喝。一开始的时候他们是有一点抗拒它的味道，但现在好多了，该是喝惯了吧！每个周末，人人一杯，清清体内的垃圾。

Last Friday is Mei Mei turn to tell story. She's very happy that day becuase I was there to support her. I'm impress that she's able to tell the whole story, I think the hardwork is all go to the teacher who train them.
Make up from mama is too light, so teacher touch up for her again, with 2 rosy cheeck and a rosy nose.

Took photos with her class contestant, 3 from her class and they all tell the same story :) Pei Xuan that she mention to me actually is my secondary school mate's daughter, the girl in red and black dress.

Here are the first batch contestant, total 16 from Nursery 1. And Kait Yee is in 2nd batch.

Again, after the session, they are asked to snap photo with all the contestant and teacher on the stage.

Well done to all the kids. You are so great!

Busy week

Last week I recieved a call from kaitlyn & Kait Yee's teacher telling me that they have been selected from their class to go for inter class story telling competition and I have to prepare custom for them. Actually both of them told me about it, but I not so sure if Mei Mei really been selected, until teacher told me so I only confirm she does. There was a notice from school too but the girls just keep it in their school bag, this mommy also too lousy and not realised it. Kaitlyn's session is on this morning while Kait Yee is on Friday. I've to take leave these 2 days to go and support them :)

Kaitlyn tells 聪明的小鸭 and Mei Mei tells "Be more hardworking" and the character for the story is ant and worm. So I make Kaitlyn a duckling custom and Mei Mei a worm custom (she likes green).

I seek for Jade help to get me custom from her friend, but too bad one is too small and the other one is too big and sexy. So I have to go for my other option, make it by myself since I already bought the fabric from Kamdar...tang..tang..here are they. Green one looks like frog instead as most of the people said so :(
Kaitlyn woke up very early this morning and excitely waiting for me to make up for her. The little one also ask for some touch up too!

I sent her to her class and saw teacher Ooi was busy dressing up the contestant, most of them borrow the custom except Kaitlyn's one is mommy made.

After the story telling session, all the contestant went up to the stage and took photos with their teacher.

Although Kaitlyn don't get any prize, but yet she did a superb job.

天下的妈妈都是一样的吗？？

跟我同年代的都因该会唱“天下的妈妈都是一样的”吧！最近心血来朝，就拿来教两个女儿唱，要她们歌颂妈妈的伟大。。哈哈！
她们很喜欢这首歌。歌词中有那么一句，厨房是她的天下，狮子头还有红烧鸭，她都样样精通不会假，她是我妈妈。唱着，唱着。。。Kaitlyn 忽然问我，妈妈，你都不进厨房的。。。似乎告诉我这首歌并不适宜唱给我听，真的无地自容:( 现在才知道为什么现在的老师不在教小孩唱它了。现在的妈妈都不下厨啊！
但，我觉得，唱给我妈妈听，就非常贴确。。一年365天，她从来都不放假的。天天都在忙。虽然我都嫁了，她还是把我当成小孩一样，每次回家，都会忙着煮好多我喜欢吃的菜肴，有什么好的，肯定留一份给我。我真的好幸福！Kaitlyn 曾经告诉我，当她长大嫁人后，我也要像外婆一样对待她哦！

Do it look likes a cake or mud? Actually I want to make a Batik cake, but what I get is totally not the same as shown in website, so sad.. although the ingredients I used is exactly the same, have to admit I'm a poor baker.I shouldn't give up, should give 2nd attempt when I get another version of recipe :) For this tray of mess, luckily I have my 2 girls to consume all.

今天一大早就到光华小学去为kaitlyn报名, 非常夸张的是整间报名室已经挤满了人潮。。。我在8点15分到那儿，拿到的编号竟然是99号了。家公说以前父母为了让他们的孩子进入名校，是漏夜排对的。

等了两小时后，才轮到我。老师给了我4张的校徽和1个名卡，要我12月30号带她去认识新环境。我的女儿就要上小学了，做妈妈的比孩子还要紧张。迫不及待想要去买校服了，不懂有没有她可穿的size!

After few attempts, still don't see Mei mei hair standing up! seems like the ruler does not picks up electrons from the hanky which it's rubbed, there is no negative

Lately we realised that Mei Mei grind her teeth while she sleep, is she stress? I wonder! b'cos she don't have any home work like her sister, no tests, everyday go and back from school happily... ahh.. may be we don't give her enough chocolate or candy :)
I'm thinking to bring her to dentist and get her a mouth guard.. but will she be too small for it. Just let it be for the moment la, hope this bad habit will go away sometimes.

Last Sunday was Family Carnival day at the girls kindy. Papa was not around because went to Kuching. So Ah Mah went with us. The girls so enjoyed because have many games to play with.

These are the aluminium cans that they bought to school and reused it for art creation, I can't imagine that they can do for so many things...

妹妹长大了

妹妹三岁了！是长大了，但也变得很调皮! 讲起话来，像个大人。。。

每当我生气时，她总会提醒我，你生气，你会变成老太婆哦...你讲好好，不要大大声，我才听。

我要喂她吃饭，她不让我喂，反问我，你不知道我有手的麽？？

现在爱上学了，不在哭闹！！喜欢扮演老师和妈妈的角色。。问她长大后要做什么，答案是当妈妈。。。

今天请了一天假，提早到学校去接她，她看到我，高兴极了！马上告诉她的老师我来接她回家了。我就趁着这个机会，问老师她在班乖不乖，评语还不错，老师还称赞她很有礼貌。难怪老师会选她当班长啦，这个小瓜倒是很会讨人欢喜的。。

这些铝罐的拉环都是她帮我拉开的。因为我怕被割伤，所以就等老公帮忙做，没想到她竟然没两下子就拉完了。犀利！！

每当看到爸爸再喝啤酒时，会很夸张的求他别再喝了，很搞笑的。。。好像爸爸喝醉后会打我们似的。。演技一流！

这就是我三岁的小女儿啦！！

One day, under a chair, there was a mouth of teeth fall out from a girls' mouth, the girl was so scared that she shout out loud, arhh... arhhh and her sister also shouted arhh.. , so the girls ran away from the teeth in the house...

No more chut chut

为了让妹妹戒掉吃奶嘴的习惯，之前问了一些朋友有什么办法，有些说放辣椒啦，把奶嘴剪半啦，叫他自己把Chut chut扔掉。。。拿了这些资料，我却还不忍心做。心想，再让她吃多几天吧！反正她还小。有一晚，我不在，妹妹向爸爸要奶嘴，爸爸找不到，就没给她，她也累得睡着了，隔天，老公就说反正昨晚没有chut chut她也可以睡阿，那我们就坚持不给她，真的耶！帮她戒掉实在没那么难，。。只要“坚持”那就行了，虽然之间她会吵吵闹闹,但一周之后，真的可以跟chut chut说bye bye了, 烦了好久的问题终于解决了。

极乐寺 ~~ 放生池

上两个星期，带了三个小瓜去极乐寺，最好玩的因该是去放生池喂乌龟了！买了一把kangkung 让她们喂, 丢完后吵着不够，是那些乌龟太贪吃呢还是这些小女孩们玩得太起劲了呢，一把kangkung不够，买了第二把，没两下，又完了。。。再买。。，最后只有在威胁的情况下离开，要不那些乌龟肯定饱死！！

The idea of building this house is all from Kaitlyn‘s book 只要我长大! There is a topic of 心情小屋，when you sad or happy, you can hide into the house and share your feeling or secret with someone! So I think this may be an good idea, I can build one for both girls. But after the project completed, Kaitlyn suggest to make it as a shop so that she can plays restaurant or shopping with her Mei Mei. At the end we name it 开心小屋!

老公说女儿都是他前世的女友，本来还想博多个男的，但听他说后真怕，不知他前世到底有几个女友！！说真的，生了两个女儿之后，我们都决定两个够了，因为怕沒时间陪伴他们，还有我们的两个宝贝女儿已经弄得我们筋疲力尽了。一把年纪的我们哪还有力气半夜睲來喂奶，骗奶，逼奶。。哈哈，我们的孩子是比较特别的。。。都不爱喝奶！可是现在长辈们都希望我们在博一个儿子，但孩子是老天爷赠的，那可强求呢！！听天由命吧！

做妈妈的有好吃的都会留给孩子吃！托朋友从台湾买了一包黑糖酸梅口味的棒棒糖，不舍得吃，今天刚好老公不在家，所以就让他们放纵一下，一边看戏，一边舔着棒棒糖，看。。。他们舔的多开心呀！！！

My Mei Mei already 32 months old, she's now 12kg and around 86cm tall. Small in size but big in attitude, as talkative as her sister.

She already going to school for about 10 weeks. Until today when we drop her off to school, she still cry. Teacher Sheena told us that she normally just cried for awhile and will settle down a few minutes later. Once she stop, she'll be okay and can join in the crowd, a few days ago I went to visit her in school and take a peek of her from the window, she's doing great, finished her lunch without feed, after wipe her mouth, throw the tissue into dustbin. Quite behaving!

She's likes to played I-Phone and I-Pad, browsing from 1 game to another game, whenever papa is around, she'll ask for his phone.

She's now likes to take junk food instead of her normal meal. Is all my fault... introduce too many candy to her.

Some naughty/silly things that she have done lately:

I ask if she want some chocolate brownie and she told me that she don't want because
if she take it, she'll become 黑糯米(as the cake is black in colour)

There was 1 day, she hide and curi makan sweet and get scolded by Ah Mah, she angry at Ah MAh and said want to pour water on the floor and let Ah Mah slip. (I really can't accept my girl cursing people in this way!)

While she take her cup of milk, she ask me to accompany her. Which papa is just around, so papa tease her said why papa cannot accompany, so she said cin cai, cin cai la.. papa also 陪.

We ask her what's her friends name, she name a few to us, likes Erina, Chong Kai.. Ah Lun (the way she pronounce it is so cute, so we all laugh) she's a bit curious why we laugh and she get stunned.. then papa said why you guys laugh at her, just Ah Lun nia ma ... but papa is laughing too!!

Today I first introduce bubble gum/chewing gum to Kaitlyn, she’s very excited to try it. Before she put it into her mouth, she’s very curious, ask me how to eat it… I told her just chewed but do not swallowed and have to spit it out when the flavor has all gone. But she raise a funny question to me, she worry if her saliva can be swallow! Reunion

The first 3 days of chinese new year always the busy days for us, visits relatives from house to house is really tiring especially under the hot sun. But I still enjoyed new year celebration because enjoyed reunion. I think the same apply to my girls because sister in law family only came back once a year, that is during chinese new year, Kaitlyn is big enough to appreciate this precious moment that we spend as a family, the night before Da KuKu left, she even cry for not letting her to go back.

准备过年啰！！今天是除夕，像往年一样，会先到Ah Mah家吃团圆饭然后再到婆婆家吃第二轮。

我们家的新年装饰品。。。还有几张新年前拍的照片。。。
1. 财神爷娃娃带来金银宝。
2. 换了一粟银柳，去旧迎新。
3. 唯一不属于我们买的。这些cupcakes是妈妈公司的货代给的，因为太可爱了，所以就请同事在还没吃之前拍照。
4. 爸爸和女儿忙着包红包。
5. 爸爸去年新年买Calsberg时送的碗，瞒有意思的，福满，粮满，长满, 圆满,我打算每年都把它们拿出来摆。
6. 妈妈设计的篮子，利用人家不要的牡丹花和彩带做成的。
7. 姐姐不能穿的旗袍，给了妹妹穿，刚刚好。
8. 新年前，带了两个小瓜逛夜市。
9. Kaitlyn在art class做的贺年兔。
10. 我们都爱吃的年糕，今年买了8粒。
11. 花球。
12. 婆婆做的年糕。

Chinese New Year is around the corner!! Kuih Kapek is a must prepare cookies by Popo during CNY. Although it takes a lot of effort, but popo said that the wait is worth.
She has spend a few days busying making the kuih kapek for her grandchildren as they just love to eat this thin and crispy cookies. Popo gives us three big tin this year!!

2nd week to school

This week already the 2nd week Mei Mei had attended school. She still cried when we drop her off. But comparing to the 1st week, she's much more better. At least she'll wave goodbye to us (with tears) and keep her promise that she'll wait for Ah Kong to come and fetch her home. During the first week, after papa accompanied her to her class, she cried and hug papa so tight like a Koala bear, do not want papa to go away. Papa can't even wave goodbye to her and have to left without her notice. Whenever she think of school, she'll told me that she want to go Ah Mah house instead, what a pity girl, I hope that she can get rid of this separation anciety very soon and start enjoying her school life.

I never bring my girls to studio for photo shooting and today I lost my mind and spend RM90 to get 3 photos (softcopy). Make up + pretty dress + curly hair + high heel... dress up like a Barbie doll... is what my girl dream for, and her dream comes true today although is just 30 mins of photo shooting. To me, RM90 is too expensive but happiness and memory to her is priceless...

First day to school

Today is Mei Mei first day to school. Both of the girls are so excited to go to school together. On the way, Jie Jie remind Mei Mei that if she want to go to toilet, she have to say:" teacher, may I go to toilet please..." and also remind her on some other things that she need to do at school. When reached school, I dropped them off just like I dropped Jie Jie, I didn't park my car and bring them in as I want Mei Mei to get used to the way we are. Jie Jie send her to her class but after Jie Jie left, she cry and want her Jie Jie to accompany her. At the end, Jie Jie skip her class and accompany her the whole morning till papa go and pick up both of them.

Hair Man Plant

3. After 6th days, the hair start growing, but not much.
4. Today is the 9th days, you can see the hair grow more and more for the man who close his arm. But the other man only have little :)

Strawberry picking

We keep our promise to the girls that we will bring them to Cameron Highland for strawberry picking... and yes, we did it last weekend.

Papa and Kaitlyn picked 2 trays of strawberries which is about 1 kg.. Jie Jie know how to choose the red,big and ripe one, keeps pointing to papa which one to picked. For my Mei Mei, as she likes green, so she want us to pick the green one instead.

Kaitlyn wants to share those strawberry with her teachers, Ah Kong, Popo.. Cho Cho.. oh... so many people, so mama suggest to go for another round of picking but Papa said is too late so mama have to get another big box from the market.

Kool Fever

Both of me and hubby are so silly and careless for such a long year.. we use the kool fever incorrectly. We never remove the transparent film when apply to our girls, no wonder it can't fix firmly on their forehead, until today Kait Yee have a fever and we put a sheet for her but again it keeps dropping, so we ask her to hold it herself, can you imagine a sick girl holding the sheet.. looks very pity, I just wondering why it can't stick on her forehead like others. Normally if my girl sick, I don't use Kool Fever, I use wet hanky and wipe off the body heat instead because I think Cool Fever is not user friendly. Until just now Ah Mah see how come it is not sticky,and take a look on the sheet, only she realised that the transparent sheet was not removed and told as it need to removed else how can it fix. What a good laugh we had this evening. Shame on me!!

These dress was perfect for my 2 little girls because they like to dress like a girly girl, especially Kaitlyn. I can't wait to bring them home from the shop today. As compare to the price from website, it is cheaper. Somemore I can let them try it on. The bottom is like a dance tutu and so cute to see them twirled and twirled to make the ruffles fly.

昨天是弟子规的结业典礼，但是非常可惜的我们没去，因为kaitlyn生病了，傍晚时，忽然发起了高烧。我想，她的老师一定失望极了，因为，千吩咐，万吩咐，一定要准时出席。。。对不起了老师。。。明年再来吧！

希望我的女儿上了一年的课后，不是只会读和背，而是去做。落实所学的每一字，每一句。

而我呢？我也上了一年课，老师说身教生效，所以父母一定要做个好榜样给他们学。

在这一年里，学了一句话非常有意义的，所以我要把它记下来，好让两个女儿牢牢的记住。

Some updates on Mei Mei

Mei Mei is 2 years and 5 mths old. I can see that my little Mei Mei has grown up a lot in terms of the way she behave and talk. It is scary as she's now at the stage of naughty two, tend to do and say all the things that we don't expected.

Her skin type is tan so Ah Kong tend to call her 黑糯米. She'll angry when people tease her with this nickname.

A little instructor, there was a day, while we travel home from Ah Mah place, she instruct us what to do after we reach home, she asked me to take bath, Papa to work then Jie Jie do her homework and she's the only one can play. Actually that's the things that we do every night. Pity her, Mama no time to teach her, most of the time, she's with kakak.

Sometimes I wear very casual to work, and there was a morning she told me that "Mama I want you to wear pretty pretty, I don't want you wear 不美，不美的".

And also one day she said want to beat papa (I can't recall the incident), after papa raise his voice and ask her beat who, she said beat mosquito la...

Like yesterday night, papa was playing with the girls and ask them to give him a massage, may be is due to "geram", so Mei Mei bite on Papa back and that make Papa so angry and stare at her fiercely, she said 可怕，可怕 and run away.

And this morning, she take a peek when papa wee wee, she cried "oh!orange juice" ... you know what?? because papa urine is orangie...

Many more funny and cheeky things she has done recently. But yet, colour, letters, shape all don't know and this make me so worry and I feel so sorry that I didn't put much time in guiding her, I've register her to nursery by this December, hope she'll learn and pick up from there.

Getaway

We have a short trip to KL last weekend during papa's birthday. We took the girls along this trip without kakak. This time we stayed at Double Tree which was re-brand from Crown Princess. We checked in to the hotel after we spend an hour searching for the location as the GPS was not able to find it, due to the hotel name was not updated. The hotel management know that that day is papa birthday and send a cake to our room when we are out for dinner. That's so nice but too bad, we not manage to sing the birthday song with papa as he's rushing out to meet his supplier... so end up the cake was eaten by the girls.

One thing that I must blog about this trip is Jie Jie is more behave, even though her foot was pain due to the undersize shoes, she insists not to let any of us carry her.

colour blind???

Until now Mei Mei still not really know about colours, she only know pink and orange and for others colour if you ask her, she'll simply said one until she got it correct. Sometimes tembak betul also. We got a children CD that teach colour, Jie Jie insists to find the CD for her to watch instead of let her watching others, all of us start worry about her and we will find every opportunity to teach her, hope she can pick it up very soon. Papa said want to find a toy that can teach her colour but I don't think we need it as we can get it around us... the most easy one is from the cloths that we wear everyday.... I got a song, is about colour, so I sing for her every night depend on what colour her pyjamas is.

Deer custom

Kaitlyn will tell story this Thursday, the title is "A Clever Deer", teacher ask me to dress her up like a deer and provide me 2 contact person for renting custom. After some thought, I didn't go for renting but I ask my colleauge's mother to make it for her.

I show her the drawing on how I want it to be and provide her the fabric that I bought from KAMDAR, all this cost me about RM30.00 including 2 piece fabric and labour cost, I wonder if I rent it will it be cheaper...anyway I feel satisfy when I got it as it look super cute on both of my girl and I may modify it next time for another character.

Pick-Up Stick Game

Five, six, pick-up sticks, seven, eight, lay them straight...

I spend RM1.00 to get this new game for Kaitlyn, pick-up stick game, she just love this game. We play it together but most of the time was scroll up by little one. Kaitlyn is big enough to understand the rules, she know to remove the stick which lay by itself first and follow by others that overlap.

This games become her "must play game" every night now.

I'm so proud to said that my Mei Mei know how to care about others..

Why I said so because when we about to go home from Ah Mah house just now, Mei Mei see Ah Mah carry Xiao Jie and she know that Ah Mah hand pain, cannot carry too long, so she remind Xia Jie that "later u ask Ah Phin kakak bao bao ha, because Ah Mah hand pain pain, cannot bao bao".

Another incident is there is one day after papa stock up his beer into the fridge, when about to stand up, he hit himself on the upper compartment. Ah Mei saw that and whenever her papa put something into the fridge, she'll use her little hand to protect her papa head and keep reminding him "careful...", so worry that he'll knock himself again.

A visit to library

I finally complete a mission that has been drag for 2 years.. that is to bring Kaitlyn to the library. I totally have no idea where is the library located in Prai, hubby also not sure, just told me that is somewhere around KWSP. So lucky that we didn't lost our way, we find the library so easily with the help of the sign board, and the library is just 10-15 mins distance from our house.

I register for myself, registration fee only RM2. I promise Kaitlyn to bring her MYKid card during next visit so she can become member too and borrow more books as each person only allowed to borrow up to 4 books and 1 magazines.

We borrowed 4 children story books, 3 english and 1 chinese. We read all in an afternoon because Kaitlyn likes story so much. Should visit more since it is so near to our house.

Jealousy

If you have more than one child, you'll sure experience the challenges on sibling jealousy :) I said so because I have 2 super jealousy daughter, they not only jealous on each other but also jealous on the cousin.. Xiao Jie and Ern Ern...

Mei Mei always jealous when Jie Jie closed to me, or hug me or talk to me. If Jie Jie do something that don't make her feel right,she'll beat her. I told Papa that do not worry that she'll get bully in school :)

I remember a few months ago, when I help Kaitlyn to tight hair, this little naughty who's observing from a distance purposely walk to us, and throwing a "BAD" word to her Jie Jie.. "不美的" Really pengsan...

If you ask me who I love more, my answer is they are just equally loved.

1st half is over, and Kaitlyn bring back her report card which I'm kind of dissapointed with. Her result is regressing... no more full 100, only get 2 100% out of 5 subject, the other 3 was due to her carelessness. Teacher comments on her attitude and behaviour also not so good, still need to improve.

双亲节

上个周日，参加了佛学院主办的双亲节。4-6 岁的孝梯班表演了两首歌，虽然没什么练习，但表演得还不错的。

除了歌唱节目，还有说故事啦，表演短剧啦，还有敬礼仪式。。。这个环节，我和老公都被吓到了。老师要求孩子们给父母下跪敬礼。。。老师告诉孩子们要感恩父母对他们的付出，要求孩子望着父母的双眼，看看父母多辛苦。。。还没下跪敬礼，听到这里，Kaitlyn 已经开始哭了，使劲的窝在爸爸的怀里，不愿起来。。。我和爸爸有一点犹豫，她到底懂不懂？？

Can you imagine a guy who don't like shopping end up buying so many cloths for his daughters??? They are addorable and cheap so papa said is worth to buy. Hooray!! My girls have more cute T-shirt to wear. Most of them are 2T and 4T, Papa bought 4 with same pattern but just difference sizes so that the girl won't fight for it. Papa should buy bigger size la so that they can wear longer, anyway it is just right for now :)

Both girls warddrobe is a bit messy, so ask them to help me tidy up last night.

Now I only realised how good and fast is Jie Jie folding cloths, last time she only know how to fold a small tower and her panties. But now she master well in folding T-shirt and pants. 80% of the cloths was fold by her, see.. good ya!!

Should let her do more house chores, train them to do their own things and not always waiting for help.
